Band bio

We five Toads from the North London/Barnet area form a band that draws on a variety of influences from classic rock, metal, blues, funk and a lot more besides to create a sound which is hard to pin down but easy to rock out to! Comparisons have ranged from the likes of Tool, King Crimson, Primus, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, with everything in between. After a well-received 1st album released in 2011, the addition of a second guitarist and new drummer has evolved our sound to a completely new level and a second full - length album is currently in the works.

 

In 2015 we won the London Metal 2 the Masses competition and the New Blood Stage on Sunday night at the mighty Bloodstock Open Air festival! There we released a 3-track album demo EP, which you can download from our bandcamp page.

 

Wretched Toad are on a mission to bring their cold-blooded creations to the world, warts and all!...
